BLACK CUBE COLLECTIVE FOCUS AND SELECTION DECLARATION.
As a Black Women abstract artist collective, we are dedicated to providing a platform specifically for Black Women artists who work in abstraction, to showcase their talents and creativity.
Our focus is on celebrating and uplifting the unique perspectives and experiences of Black Women in the abstract art world.
While we value diversity, equity, and inclusion, our collective is intentionally created for Black Women artists to CONNECT, COLLABORATE and SUPPORT each other in their artistic endeavours. We believe that by centering the voices and experiences of Black Women, we can create a space that is empowering, nurturing, and affirming for our community.
It is important for us to prioritise the representation and visibility of Black Women abstract artists who have often been marginalsed and underrepresentation in the art world. By maintaining a space that is exclusive to Black Women artists, we aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment where Black Women can explore their creativity and express themselves freely.
We recognise the importance of creating spaces that are dedicated to uplifitng specific communities and providing opportunities for underrepresented artists to thrive. Our commitment to exclusivity for Black Women abstract artists is rooted in our mission to amplify their voices and create a sense of belonging and empowerment within our group.
